ASIS Phoenix Chapter Special Event

Dinner and a Diamondback Ballgame vs the LA Dodgers

Only the first 50 registrants can be accepted!
And family is invited too!

Please join us on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 for a special ASIS Phoenix Chapter event at TGIFriday’s restaurant at Chase Field, with a ballgame to follow versus the division rival Los Angeles Dodgers!  For the month of August, our normal monthly luncheon will be replaced by this special dinner event at Chase Field’s TGIFriday’s.  In addition to holding our monthly Chapter meeting (which includes the special presentation below), we will be honoring one of our own, Rollie Trayte, for his 40 years of dedicated ASIS service and leadership.  Then afterwards, enjoy the ballgame with the group from the private balcony of Friday’s restaurant.  All of this for only $60 for Chapter members!  But due to limited space, only the first 50 registrants can be accepted!

 Speaker Information

This dinner event will feature an informative presentation by Dustin Driscoll, NamUs Regional System Administrator Region 1: AZ, CA, HI, NV

Dustin Driscoll graduated in 2006 from Westfield State University in Massachusetts with a BS in criminal justice, with a minor in psychology. After working as a financial crime analyst for Boston banks, investigating suspicious accounts associated with money laundering and/or terrorist activity, he relocated to Washington, DC, to work as an analyst within the Case Analysis Unit at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), providing analytical assistance to law enforcement officers working missing child cases. He was assigned to the Forensic Services Unit, where he conducted more in-depth analyses of cold-case missing and unidentified deceased children. In 2011, he was promoted to a Senior Analyst with NCMEC.

Dustin joined the University of North Texas Health Science Center in October 2011 as an analyst for the National Institute of Justice's National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs), which grew out of the Web site established by Las Vegas Coroner Mike Murphy. In January 2016, Dustin became a Regional System Administrator for NamUs Region 1: Arizona, California, Hawaii and Nevada. He assists law enforcement, medical examiners and coroners in their investigations of missing and unidentified persons by reviewing case information/files, informing investigators of NamUs resources, and ensuring all NamUs entry criteria is met. Dustin also helps to develop networks of criminal justice professionals and non-government agencies to enhance outside agencies’ understanding and use of NamUs, and identify agencies in need of additional training on NamUs and other missing/unidentified person resources.

Networking/Registration starts at 4:30pm.  The Chapter meeting begins at 5:00pm with dinner served shortly thereafter.  First pitch is at 6:40pm.

TGIFriday’s is located in Chase Field at 401 E. Jefferson St, Phoenix AZ 85004.

Plenty of parking is available downtown at the numerous city garages.  We would also suggest the light rail as a secondary option.

Since there is a Diamondback ball game after the meeting, we encourage family members to also attend this event.  They can either join us for dinner at the meeting or swing by at first pitch to watch the game.  Family members will be charged at the same rate as the accompanying member or non-member.  They will be counted in the 50 maximum allowed by our host, so register early!

Please register now for this great opportunity to network with fellow security professionals, hear an informative presentation, enjoy a great meal, AND cheer the Diamondbacks to victory over the Dodgers.

Thank you everyone!!!
