The June speaker is George Moakley, Solutions Architect and Strategist, George Moakley Ventures  who will speak on the topic of “Security Challenges and Opportunities Involving the Internet of Things (IoT)”

George Moakley has a highly diverse background that creates a unique perspective. He has been a solution archsitect and strategic planner for IoT transportation solutions, enterprise IT, and manufacturing process control. He has managed product development for professional services, and founded and led a research group generating intellectual property for what we would now call Internet of Things. While working at Intel, George was the primary voice for Intel in transportation and logistics. He designed, and enlisted Fortune 100 partners to productize, a novel IoT freight tracking solution for 3 of the world’s largest freight companies.
