Each year, the Phoenix Chapter of ASIS International hosts the annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Luncheon (LEAL). The luncheon recognizes the year’s outstanding law enforcement officers and honors those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The chapter is proud to continue the tradition this year, and we invite your organization to be involved.

Every department head of each local, state, tribal, military and federal agency in the state is invited to attend LEAL at no cost to their department. The luncheon provides an opportunity to recognize the efforts put forth daily by the men and women of law enforcement throughout the state of Arizona. In addition, Awards of Valor are presented to outstanding officers nominated by their departments.

A more poignant aspect of the event is the honoring of those officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The families of the fallen officers are invited to attend the luncheon and speak briefly about their loved ones. The chapter presents family members with a small monetary remembrance to be used in whatever manner they decide best honors their fallen officers.

Sponsorship includes attendance by members of your organization. In addition, Gold sponsors are further recognized by having the opportunity to present the Awards of Valor to the recipients on stage during the luncheon. 

LEAL also serves as a fundraiser for the 100 Club of Arizona, which provides assistance to Arizona public safety agencies, first responders and their families. Therefore, raffle prizes and silent auction items are also very much appreciated.

The Phoenix Chapter of ASIS International was chartered in 1958 and has been serving the Arizona Security community for 59 years. We are proud to continue this tradition with the 2019 Law Enforcement Appreciation Luncheon; however, we cannot do it without backup from the community.
