Topic: Red Cross Ready – Preparing for Emergencies and Disasters

Disaster Specialists from the Greater Phoenix Red Cross Chapter will be providing an overview on readiness for emergencies and disasters with a specific focus on wildfires (a current issue) and the potential of flooding with the upcoming monsoons. While the focus will be on individual preparedness, you may find the content useful for awareness training in your own organization or community group.

This presentation teaches individuals how to “Be Red Cross Ready” for an emergency or disaster by following three simple steps:

1. Get a Kit,
2. Make a Plan and
3. Be Informed.
